As a native Floridian, I grew up on the gulf coast waters of St. Pete Beach. This is where my love for the water began. Having my own boat since the age of 10 strengthened my love for the water and my bond for fishing began.

My father, a great influence in my life, taught me much about bottom/grouper fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Allowing me to operate and navigate with only the use of a compass and a “bottom scratcher” at the age of 13. I quickly learned the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and all her mood swings.

After 18 years in St. Pete, my family moved “north” to Citrus County, Florida. I have been fishing the offshore waters of Crystal River and Homosassa for the past 20 years and have been a professional fishing guide for the last 7 years. I have won and/or placed in many of the local and Big Bend fishing tournaments including the local Cobia Big Fish tournament, Citrus County Builders Association (CCBA), Mel Tillis (fishing with Mel), and the Doug Johnson Reeling for Kids tournament to name a few.

As a full time captain, I specialize in offshore and overnight fishing charters that include the catching of many varieties of fish the Gulf of Mexico has to offer (Groupers, Snappers, Cobia, Kingfish, Amberjacks, Tuna, Dolphin and Sailfish).

The boat I operate “LADY C” is a custom built 35ft TwinVee Hydrofoil supported catamaran with a 10 and a half foot beam. The Mamba. It’s wide hull and spacious deck provides ample room for 6 anglers and its full size head area provides the freedom to relieve oneself without having to go overboard or use a bucket. There is also plenty of dry storage to keep personal belongings safe and dry.

The “LADY C” is equipped with high end Garmin and Furuno electronics along with Sirius XM satellite weather to monitor any changes in storm fronts that so often occur in the Gulf of Mexico. Also equipped with all the safety gear the US Coast Guard requires the “LADY C” carries a 6 man life raft and EPIRB to ensure all passengers the utmost in safety protocol.
